³ Then Pharaoh said to his brothers, “^(A)What is your occupation?” So they said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are ^(B)shepherds, both we and our fathers.” ⁴ And they said to Pharaoh, “^(C)We have come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks, for ^(D)the famine is heavy in the land of Canaan. So now, please let your servants ^[a](E)live in the land of Goshen.” ⁵ Then Pharaoh said to ^[b]Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.
